Business Operations Intern

Job Description: The SDCTA Business Operations intern, under the supervision of the Operations Director, will assist with: 

  • Updating website content 
  • Updating Customer relationship management (CRM) database 
  • Updating contact databases 
  • Maintaining membership information 
  • Planning event logistics 
  • Marketing and outreach 
  • Conducting business development research 
  • Administrative duties as needed 

This is the ideal internship for a student pursuing a career in business administration, marketing, public relations or non-profit management. 

Although this is an unpaid position, students may earn academic credit for the internship through their university's internship program office.

Qualifications:  The Association is seeking interns with a passion to make a meaningful impact in the community. This position requires a can-do attitude and willingness to jump in on projects.

Communication, public relations, journalism or business majors are preferred. The internship is open to all majors, but a passion to make an impact in the community is required!

Interns will be expected to work a minimum of 10-15 hours a week for 10 weeks (a commitment of two quarters or one semester is preferred).
