SDCTA opposes Proposition J - San Diego Unified Parcel Tax, 2010

SDCTA's opposition to this measure is for the following reasons: 1) The District is proposing a 5-year tax to solve a structural problem with no long-term plan for addressing its structural deficits. 2) The District has not achieved adequate concessions through labor negotiations. 3) The District has a poor track record of fiscal and governance leadership.
