SDCTA Backgrounder on Local Control Funding Formula and Accountability Plans

Under the new rules, districts are provided funding based on a new formula that is based on demographics and more local control. In addition, districts are required to adopt accountability plans that disclose how funds will be spent to provide high-quality educational programs. SDCTA would like to see increased transparency, and measurable academic goals.
